Formed by a group of professionals with diverse backgrounds, (Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Agriculture & Logistics), our networks extend from large scale consulting companies and EPC contractors to financing / equity funds.

Muchiri L. Waititu

Director

Muchiri is a Directors at AIA Architects Limited, one of the largest Architectural, Interior Design and Project Management Consultancy firms in the region.

He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology (JKUAT) and is a registered Architect with the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors and a Corporate Member of both the Architects Chapter as well as Construction Project Management Chapters of the Architectural Association of Kenya. He has previously served as Vice-Chairman of the Construction Project Management Chapter and currently sits as a Director in the Joint Building Construction council, a body which publishes Standard Building Contracts.

Muchiri has an experience of 20 years in the field and possesses extensive experience in Design, Execution and Project Management. He also has an equally impressive entrepreneurial and innovative streak in Real Estate Developments as lead consultant and pioneer of “Makao”, an award winning one stop shop solution for home owners in partnership with Housing Finance and Developer of various Residential Projects such as Racecourse Gardens (www.peninsula.co.ke), Stoneridge apartments in south C, Enkang
(www.enkang.com) and Bustani apartments (www.bustaniapartments.com)

At AIA Architects Limited, he has been instrumental in design and implementation of many projects including large scale housing schemes such as Jacaranda Gardens, educational institutions, showrooms, private residences, service stations, restaurants, and airports. AIA counts Standard Chartered, KCB, Kwale sugar, Savannah Cement, Ushuru SACCO, Ministry of Housing, Kenya Ports Authority, Kenya Airports Authority amongst others in its portfolio.

Apart from being a Director at AIA, Muchiri also holds other directorships at Thumb Green Holdings, Peninsula Development & Racecourse Gardens, all which are Real Estate Development Companies. He is a serial entrepreneur in diverse fields such as Investment, Agriculture and Trade operating as Chairman of Starehe Ninety Limited, an Investment Company.

Muchiri is involved in several community projects. He chairs an organization committed to the improvement of Starehe Boys Centre, his alma-mater.

Away from work, Muchiri has taken travel and photography as a hobby. He is also a classic car enthusiast who restores old vehicles

Andrew Mwaura

Director

Andrew is Construction Project Manager with post graduate training in Project Management.

He has extensive Project Management experience locally as well the Middle East where he worked with Hill International – a global leader in the Project Management space. Here, he worked on Projects such as the Bahrain International Airport, the Bahrain stock exchange and the Bahrain Harbour.

On his return to Kenya, Andrew setup Sterling Project Management (www.sterlingprojectmanagement.com), a bespoke Construction Project Management firm and has seen it grow to one of the leading indigenous Construction Project Management firms in Kenya.

At Sterling, Andrew has been involved in a number of projects ranging from Housing Projects like the Kahawa Downs Estate Project by Housing Finance which consisted of 220 apartments; Industrial projects e.g. 30,000sqm factory development for Leaf Tobacco
(Uganda) Ltd; Infrastructure projects such as the proposed 6.5Billion Mandera International Airport among others.

Andrew has also been involved in the Public Private Partnership (PPP) space, first with the Nairobi County for the Urban Renewal Program and lately as part of the technical advisors to KCB for the Usalama Housing Project which will be one of the largest Housing PPP’s in the country targeting the Kenya Police Service.

Andrew’s passion for project management has seen him partner with local IT firm, Herufi Africa in the promotion of IT for Project Management namely Oracle Primavera and allied solutions.

Andrew has also served as Chairman of the Construction Project Management Chapter of the Architectural Association of Kenya and is involved in several mentorship programs for University students.

Andrew brings on board Solid Project management skills as well as requisite business acumen needed for successful delivery of projects.

João Paulo Machado Ramos

Managing Director

Master’s in civil engineering, moved to Mozambique in 2012 where he managed the northern office from an engineering consultancy company (AR Group Engineering). With the same company, moved to Nairobi in 2016 and started their Kenyan office as Country Manager until he was hired by AECOM Africa to lead their Infrastructure Business Development department in East Africa.

Business orientated mind with a large network in the infrastructure and finance world, João is a problem solver with considerable experience in growing businesses in Africa.

Marcos R.G. Brandalise (MRGB)

Founder and Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O) Brazafric Group of Companies (BGC).

After several career paths in Brazil, Europe(Germany) and lastly in Africa(Angola - as the operations and marketing manager for a cargo airline), MRGB started Brazafric Enterprises Ltd (A Member of BGC) in 1996. He has lived in Africa for over 32 years, and has over 25 years experience supporting the agribusiness sector in offering complete turnkey projects. Today BGC is with 12 Companies being part of the group.
